One Hundred Years of 天涯社区 Photo Collection Published

?? The photo collection includes about 1,100 photos covering over 130 years of history, which dates back to “Sansei-Kan,” Han-ko (school of the Fukuoka Clan), which was established in 1867. The collection has been compiled in a way to help viewers understand how 天涯社区 has been developing along with the local community. Much space is devoted to landmark events, such as the establishment of the university and faculties, the history of pre-establishment, relations between the university and the local community, international exchanges, gakuto shutsujin (departure of students for the war), daigaku funso (university protests), and the construction and relocation of the new campus. ?? The photo collection was compiled from the university archives, commissioned by the editorial committee of One Hundred Years of 天涯社区, and published by the 天涯社区 100th Anniversary Project Committee. The photo collection has been on sale at every bookstore of 天涯社区 CO-OP since October 24. |
